Unroasted Green Coffee Beans - 100% Arabica Single Farm Colombia (5 Lb)

About This Product

Coffee roasters and home brewing enthusiasts, these unroasted green coffee beans are seriously quality stuff! Sourced from a single farm in Apia, Risaralda, Colombia called Barcelona, so you're getting true single-origin beans with consistent characteristics. The Castillo variety is washed processed and grown at high altitude between 1680-1757 meters, which develops those complex flavors we all love in specialty coffee. The aroma profile is amazing - you get notes of chocolate, vanilla, and caramel even before roasting. After roasting, the flavor comes through as panela (that natural sugarcane sweetness) with a cupping score of 85 points - that's solid specialty coffee territory. The beans are sized at mesh 16, 17, 18 which means good density and uniformity for even roasting. Buying green means you can roast them exactly how you like - light for brighter acidity, medium for balance, or dark for those classic bold flavors. The 5-pound bag gives you plenty to experiment with different roast profiles. Whether you're a home roaster with a small machine, a professional dialing in a new offering, or just someone who wants the freshest possible coffee, starting with quality green beans like these makes all the difference in your final cup. The single-farm origin means traceability and consistent quality you just don't get with blended commercial beans.
