AOD/AODE Transmission Extension Housing Gasket For Ford 1980-1995 Vehicles

About This Product

Ford truck and car owners with AOD or AODE transmissions from 1980-1995, if you're seeing transmission fluid leaks around the extension housing, this replacement gasket is exactly what you need! This fits a huge range of Ford vehicles including Broncos from 1985-1995, Crown Victorias 1992-2002, Econolines 1983-2002, and many other models with the specified engines and transmissions. The quality feels proper for transmission work - substantial material that should seal effectively without blowing out under pressure. When extension housing gaskets fail, you'll typically see fluid leaking where the driveshaft connects to the transmission, and if left unchecked, it can lead to low fluid levels and transmission damage. Replacement requires dropping the driveshaft and removing the extension housing, but it's a straightforward job for anyone with basic mechanical skills. I've used these on several customer vehicles, and when installed with proper sealant (if recommended), they stop leaks effectively and hold up well over time. Whether you're doing routine transmission maintenance or repairing an active leak, having a quality extension housing gasket ensures your Ford's transmission stays properly sealed and lubricated. Don't let a simple gasket failure lead to expensive transmission repairs - this replacement part delivers the fit and performance that keeps your classic Ford running strong for years to come.
