Remflex 2016 Exhaust Gasket Set For Chevy V8 - 2-Pack Square Port Header Gaskets For Small Block 262-400

About This Product

Alright Chevy V8 owners, if you're tired of dealing with exhaust leaks no matter how tight you crank those header bolts, these Remflex gaskets are about to change your life. Made right here in the USA with this unique flexible graphite material that's been proven in industrial applications for over 30 years - we're talking temperatures up to 3000 degrees Fahrenheit! The square port design measures 1-5/16 inch width by 1-3/8 inch height, perfect for Small Block Chevys from 262 to 400 cubic inches, including those weld bead headers that can be tricky to seal. Here's the secret - these gaskets are about 1/8 inch thick and designed to crush down to 50% of that, which means they fill in any gaps, pits, or warping in your flanges up to 1/16 inch. No more fighting with warped headers that never seem to sit flat against the heads. The best part? You actually torque them down to much lower specs than factory gaskets (it's printed right on the package), and there's no need to constantly retighten bolts as there are no rubber binders that shrink or harden over time. Don't use any sealant either - these work perfectly on their own. I've put these on several builds now and the difference is night and day - no more exhaust leaks that make your car sound like a beater, and no more burnt valve worries from lean conditions. The 2-pack means you've got a spare for the next project too.
