TRQ Parking Brake Shoe Set - Rear Compatible With Lexus Toyota Scion Subaru

About This Product

If your parking brake isn't holding like it used to or you're hearing grinding noises from the rear brakes, this TRQ shoe set is exactly what you need. The compatibility is impressive - it works with 2018-2019 Lexus LX570, 2013-2016 Scion FR-S, 2013-2017 Subaru BRZ, 2013-2014 Legacy and Outback, 2015-2019 WRX and WRX STI, 2017-2020 Toyota 86, and 2018-2019 Tundra models. These are the shoes for your rear parking brake system, which often gets overlooked during regular brake service. The quality is solid with proper friction material that provides good holding power without being too aggressive. Installation is straightforward if you're comfortable with brake work - you'll need to remove the rear rotors to access the parking brake shoes inside the brake drum portion of the hub. The 2-year/24,000-mile warranty provides good peace of mind, though it only covers the parts themselves. The reference numbers match common aftermarket brands like Raybestos (1035PG) and Wagner (Z1035), so you know these are standard specifications. What's really important is that worn parking brake shoes can eventually damage the brake drum surface of your rotors, leading to much more expensive repairs down the road. Replacing these when they're worn is cheap insurance against bigger problems. The set includes everything you need for both sides, and the packaging protects the friction material during shipping. Whether you're doing preventative maintenance or fixing an existing problem, these TRQ shoes deliver reliable performance that restores your parking brake function properly.
