Lixie 38oz Dead Blow Hammer - 2-Inch Diameter Head With Replaceable Urethane Faces

About This Product

If you do any kind of mechanical work, assembly, or disassembly, a dead blow hammer is one of those tools you don't realize you need until you try one. This Lixie 38-ounce model with its 2-inch diameter head is perfectly sized for most general purpose tasks. What makes dead blow hammers special is the unobstructed cavity partially filled with iron shot - when you swing it, the shot continues forward after impact, eliminating bounceback and transferring more force to your work instead of your arms. The replaceable urethane screw-in faces are brilliant because when they eventually wear out, you just unscrew them and put on new ones instead of replacing the whole hammer. The urethane material is great because it won't mar surfaces like steel hammers would, making it perfect for positioning components, tapping bearings into place, or any job where you don't want to damage the finish. The hickory handle has safety grooves for a secure grip, and the overall balance feels natural in your hand. The high-tensile aluminum head is non-sparking, which can be important in certain environments. Whether you're working on cars, machinery, furniture assembly, or any project requiring controlled impact, this hammer delivers force without the jarring feedback of traditional hammers. The dead blow action means you can use less effort to achieve the same results, reducing fatigue during extended work sessions. It's one of those tools that once you use it, you'll wonder how you managed without it for so many tasks.
