Nissens Air Conditioning Receiver Drier 95312 - AC System Moisture Filter And Debris Filter

About This Product

For anyone dealing with AC system work or repairs, this Nissens receiver drier is one of those components you definitely don't want to skip. The receiver drier might not be the most glamorous part of your air conditioning system, but it's absolutely essential for keeping everything running smoothly. What does it actually do? Well, it serves two crucial functions - first, it filters out particles and debris that could damage your compressor or other AC components, and second, it absorbs harmful moisture from the system that could cause corrosion or freeze up and damage things. The Nissens 95312 model is manufactured to meet original equipment standards, so you're getting quality that matches what came with your vehicle originally. The package dimensions are about 12x2x2 inches and it weighs less than a pound, making it easy to handle during installation. Here's the important thing about receiver driers - whenever you open up your AC system for repairs, you should replace this component. Once it's been exposed to air, it starts absorbing moisture and loses effectiveness. The installation is pretty straightforward if you're already working on AC components, though you'll need proper equipment to evacuate and recharge the system afterward. Nissens has a good reputation in the automotive parts world for producing reliable components that meet or exceed OE specifications. Whether you're a professional mechanic stocking your shop or a DIYer tackling AC repairs, having a quality receiver drier like this Nissens unit ensures your AC system stays clean, dry, and operating efficiently for years to come. It's one of those 'while you're in there' parts that's cheap insurance against future AC problems.
