General's 558 White Charcoal Pencils - Pack Of 12 Artist Pencils For Drawing & Highlights

About This Product

Artists, if you work with dark papers or need to add bright highlights to your drawings, these General's white charcoal pencils are absolutely essential. The pack of 12 means you'll have plenty on hand for those intensive drawing sessions. What's really cool about these pencils is how versatile they are - you can use them dry for sketching and shading, or wet the tip to create liquid white that applies opaquely like paint. I use them constantly for adding final highlights to charcoal drawings, and they work beautifully on toned papers where you need that pop of bright white. The consistency is perfect - not too waxy, not too chalky, just smooth application that blends well but still stays vibrant. They're also great for creating patterns on dark surfaces or even using as transfer pencils. The quality is consistently good across all 12 pencils, with minimal breakage and even pigment distribution. If you do any work with charcoal, pastels, or on colored papers, having these white charcoal pencils in your toolkit will completely change what you can achieve with highlights and contrast. Seriously, once you start using them, you'll wonder how you managed without them.
