USA Sealing Black Garolite XX Sheet - 1/8" X 12" X 48" Phenolic Laminated Industrial Material

About This Product

Engineers, machinists, and industrial fabricators - this Garolite XX sheet is seriously versatile stuff for all kinds of projects. Measuring 1/8 inch thick by 12 inches wide by 48 inches long, this black phenolic laminated sheet offers moderate strength with excellent electrical insulating properties that make it perfect for countless applications. The tensile strength of 15,000 psi means it can handle significant mechanical stress, while the Rockwell M110 hardness provides good durability for wear surfaces. What's really useful is its temperature resistance up to 250°F and those UL 94 HB specifications for flame retardancy. I've used Garolite for everything from electrical insulation panels and circuit board substrates to jigs, fixtures, and wear strips in machinery. The surface has this nice smooth finish that works well for sliding applications, and it machines beautifully without chipping or fraying like some composite materials. The water absorption rating is excellent at just 0.0125%, so it holds up well in humid environments without warping or degrading. The black color gives it a professional, finished look that's great for visible applications. Whether you're building custom electronics enclosures, creating industrial fixtures, or need durable insulating material for prototypes, this sheet delivers reliable performance. Much better quality than cheaper alternatives that might delaminate or have inconsistent thickness. Stock up on this versatile material - you'll find yourself reaching for it constantly once you experience how many problems it can solve in the shop.
